Every day I spend about twenty minutes on a warm-up piece. These pieces may continue getting some work for a day or two; others drag on over months, and some get put away wet and ridden hard for weeks, only to be forgotten for months, only to be rediscovered and beaten upon senselessly.
This one was one of the latter, and got a few tricks thrown at it.
It's a 1970 Plymouth 'Cuda that I had rendered for another project, but this time with a fresh color, stance and old-school Cragar mags.
The tire smoke was just a lot of playing with the burn and dodge tools on layer upon layer, with me finally falling into a rhythm and technique that I liked.
